Sunday, Sunday....

Hey everyone!

Hope you have all had a great week enjoying the sun! Monday I did, we took the girls on a beach walk from Brighton Marina to Rottingdean, it was such a beautiful evening! We were meant to have chips on the beach at the end, but even though the chip shop told us they were shutting at 9pm, they'd already closed at 8:15pm! Ah well, they missed out on 22 hungry mouths wanting fish and chips!

Tuesday however, was a different story! I was ill again, this time, my throat. I used to have loads of throat problems when I was younger, but haven't had any for years (apart from losing my voice a few months ago!). I went to the Dr and she told me I had a viral infection, ugh. So lots of gargling with asprin and antiseptic throat spray later and I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow, I hope anyway!

I didn't manage much crafting, although I wanted to, it was just so hot! So I read, read, read! Blogs, books and magazines mainly, plus a few email convos with some friends. I sadly missed Thurdays Valentines workshop, cannot wait til the next one as I've missed everyone there.

Not long til the summer holidays, it is going to be full of DIY and crafting. I'm doing a skills swap with a friend at work, I'm teaching her to scrap, and she's teaching me how to sew :) It's going to be great. The boy and I both have the first 2 weeks off together, so that'll be DIY madness, we hope to get the whole place done in those 2 weeks, my goodness!

I treated myself to something really cute from etsy in the week, I will share when I get them, you will all want them for your crafts, I'm sure of it!

I'm off to watch my new fave prog ('Snog, Marry Avoid', so trashy but hilarious! Love that and 'Come Dine With Me'!!) and have my dinner-enchiladas and salad, mmmm!!
